In this pronunciation bootcamp we will work on the six skills that will bring you the fastest results.

I will be teaching live on Zoom.

There will be a lot of chance to practice your pronunciation.

By the end of the bootcamp, you will be able to attend any meeting or event with confidence. This is because that the first things you say will be in clear, natural English.

Day 1: Stress, Timing and Rhythm

Using the wrong stress can sound unnatural.

Unnatural/ unNATural/unnaTUral. Can you hear the difference? The wrong stress can also change the meaning of words or cause people to mishear what you have said.

It's not just stress but the timing that matters.

Speaking-too-fast,-and-stopping-only-when-you-run-out of air is a very common mistake. We will make sure that you know how to break down a text, and when to pause (and breathe) when you speak English.

Day 2: Intonation and Phonetics

We will begin day 2 with intonation.

Intonation shows whether you are bored, happy, angry and so much more. I love teaching intonation its so effective.

We will talk through some important intonation patterns and make sure you are using the right ones for your personality and message.

Later in the day, we look at some of the technical aspects of pronunciation.

We are going to go through each of the 12 long and short sounds and make sure you know the difference between sit and seat, run and ran.

Then it will be on to the consonants where we will look at all the tricky sounds such as /l/, /r/ and /v/, /b/.
